ABOUT

Massimiliano Rega is a Senior Executive and entrepreneur with global experience in international telecommunications, consulting, fitness, and media companies. He specializes in omnichannel sales, customer experience, and operations. He holds a PhD in Management Engineering (Business Engineering) and is an adjunct professor of Economics and Business Organization at the University of Rome Tor Vergata.

EXPERIENCE

Massimiliano Rega launched his professional journey as a consultant and, over two decades, crafted a unique work method and developed strong and distinctive skills. His career kicked off at S.N.C.F. in Paris in 1993 before transitioning to Andersen Consulting in 1995. Venturing into the international domain in 1996, he joined the Telecom Italia group at TMI Telemedia International SPA. In 2000, he moved to Accenture, assuming roles that culminated in Senior Manager - Strategy, overseeing key European projects for leading telecommunications and media firms. From 2004, he contributed to Sky's operations, initially as Head of Sky Service & Sales Operations, later assuming the role of Service & Delivery Director in 2008, and subsequently taking charge of the Customer Experience Directorate.

 

Between 2012 and 2017, he served at Technogym SpA as COO - Consumer Sales Marketing and Service Operation, concurrently holding a board position at Mywellness SpA. Since 2017, he has held the role of Adjunct Professor at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Rome Tor Vergata, specializing in Economics and Business Organization.

 

In 2018, he established MRC Omnichannel Sagl in Switzerland, dedicated to developing and implementing innovative solutions in Omnichannel and Digital sales. Through collaborations with Holding and Investment Companies, he contributes to managing operations in the Food, Beverage, and Home sectors across Europe and the Middle East. Additionally, he has held significant positions as a major shareholder, board member, and Managing Director at PG Italy since 2018. PG Italy stands as a leader in Italy's market for electrical, network, internet, wireless broadband, and TV reception systems, operating with a substantial workforce and a wide network of service points.

EDUCATION

Massimiliano Rega was born in Rome. He completed his engineering degree at Tor Vergata University in Rome in 1994. He continued his academic journey by achieving the Master Black Belt designation through Lean Six Sigma training at MIP Politecnico di Milano. Presently, he holds a Ph.D. in Business Engineering from the University of Rome Tor Vergata, with a thesis focused on multichannel and omnichannel sales. Additionally, in 2011, he obtained certification as a European Master Logistician in Strategic Management from ECBL and ELA.
